Made With Lau

I joined the Made With Lau team when the channel was rapidly expanding and looking to streamline its internal operations and expand possibilities for product and revenue diversification. I led the team through the development of a digital course and secured multiple sponsorships. As the channel expanded, I learned how to scale with intention, balancing growth with team capacity. Check out two standout videos I helped produce:  The Perfect Omelette and Salt & Pepper Tofu.

My Name Is Andong

I collaborated with My Name Is Andong on research, scripting, and supported the development of the channel’s first published cookbook, Kitchen Passport. The channel’s global audience and Andong’s unique approach to food storytelling made this a chance to stretch across digital and print. Through this, I learned to let performance metrics guide creative decisions, and how to experiment with content while managing productions at various scales. Watch an example or check out the book.

Eating In Berlin

With Eating In Berlin, I supported the launch of their first merch and helped organize in-person community events. It was a rewarding challenge to translate an online presence into real-life experiences, including restaurant shoots and meetups. Coordinating across time zones and formats gave me firsthand insight into how to sustain a brand across mediums. See their merch launch.

Data and Research Center

DARC came to me at a time when they needed to build a better internal system so that they could scale their impact to help journalists worldwide. I was excited by the impact potential and the complexity of the project, and this also marks my first foray into journalism. My producing background in the Youtube space set me up for success - I understood what it meant to build systems while there is new business reality to confront at a rapid pace. I guided the team to shape internal systems, clarified our mission, and engage with the community as we scaled.

Retreating to Re-Treat

Co-authoring Retreating to Re-Treat with an Indigenous and non-Indigenous cohort was a powerful, reflective process. As a settler, I took time to consider my responsibility in collaborative, decolonial work. Writing with Jennifer Alicia and others about our shared creative journeys and theatre production experiences reminded me that art is as much about accountability as it is about expression. Read the book.

TONG Release Concert

I directed my first concert video for TONG—a high-energy, emotionally rich project filmed on a tight schedule. This project boosted my directing chops and gave me an opportunity to refine how to manage a creative team with limited resources and time. Strong direction isn’t just vision—it’s also timing, delegation, and trusting your crew. Watch the film  here.
